Tailor-made solutions
in Cold & Warm Forging.

Cold Forging (or Warm Forging) is a wire metal forming process carried out at room temperature (the wire being either at romm temperature, either heated up to +/- 400°), by plastic deformation using punches and dies.
It is widely used for fastening parts and automotive parts, etc.

On our dedicated Samat plant, we mainly produce parts according to customer drawings.

  • Improvement of mechanical properties
    The metal is cold-worked during deformation, increasing mechanical strength, hardness, and fatigue resistance.
  • Continuous metal fibers
    Opposite to turning, the structure and the fibers of the material are not cut, which improves the strength of the parts.

In order to meet the most stringent functional requirements, our parts issued from Cold Forging can undergo various finishing operations, including machining carried out with optimal precision. Thanks to our versatile machinery and our technical expertise, we carry out all secondary-operations internally.
